Two-truck Accident Under Investigation in Hancock County

HANCOCK COUNTY, MS – A collision involving a dump truck and a pickup on Thursday morning is currently under investigation by Hancock County authorities.

The two-truck crash occurred on Texas Flat Road at the 4-mile marker near Mississippi 603. Authorities have not said whether the driver of the dump truck or the pickup was to blame.

Police explained the pickup was heading east and the dump truck was traveling west when they collided at around 9 a.m. Thursday.

One of the victims was transported by Life Flight to USA Medical Center in Mobile.

So far, none of the victims’ names have been released.
