Truck Hauling Eggs was Involved in an Accident on a Seattle Highway

SEATTLE, WA — A semi-truck accident in Seattle has given a whole new meaning to the term scrambled eggs.

Washington State Patrol reports that the semi and a motor vehicle were involved in an accident on Tuesday at around 11 a.m. on Interstate 5 in north Seattle. Two people in the car and the truck driver sustained minor injuries and were taken in for medical evaluation.

Authorities say the semi-truck was transporting eggs when it collided with another vehicle, causing it to go over a barrier and land upside down on the highway. The truck allegedly fell about three feet onto the Ravenna Street on-ramp, spilling oil that required the ramp to be closed for clean up.
Traffic resumed after about an hour.
