Truck driver gets 7 years for fatal accident

A pastor who took up truck driving to earn extra money was sentenced to 7 years in prison over an accident which took the lives of a father and his daughter. In 2009, Marcos Costa was driving a big rig down the steep Angle’s Crest outside of Los Angeles when his brakes failed and went into traffic. He slammed into a car driven by Angel George Posca, 58. Both Posca and his daughter Angelina, 12, died as a result of the accident. The rig also slammed into shops along the highway. Three other people were injured in the crash.
