Topeka Truck Accident Results in Damaged Light Pole
TOPEKA, Kansas – A two-vehicle crash in Topeka Wednesday morning caused a light pole to get knocked down, but luckily, no one was injured.
The incident occurred just after 6:30 a.m. on S.W. 23rd and Harrison. Emergency crews reported that a light pole had been knocked over and a power line was on the ground.
Police explain a copper-colored Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck that had been heading southbound on S.W. Harrison crashed into a black Ford F-150 extended-cab pickup truck that was traveling eastbound on S.W. 23rd.
The crash led the Chevrolet to hit a wooden light pole on the southeast corner of the intersection. Fortunately, neither of the truck drivers was injured and neither was transporting passengers.
