Roads Reopen Following Missouri Truck Accident
Lake St. Louis, MO – Following a semi truck accident that occurred on Monday morning in Lake St. Louis, the westbound lanes of Interstate 64 near Lake St. Louis Boulevard have been reopened.
Emergency crews closed the westbound lanes of I-64/Highway 40 between Lake St. Louis Boulevard and Prospect Road following the truck accident. Authorities reported that a semi-truck lost control and went off the road, hitting a guardrail.
At this time, authorities have not said how many vehicles were involved in the crash aside from the semi-truck or if there were any injuries or casualties.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident. Officials have not said if weather was a factor in the incident.
The wreckage took a few hours to be cleared.
