Pickup truck overturns in Missouri ejecting one passenger

LOUISIANA, Missouri – Two residents from Louisiana, Mo. Were hurt in a truck accident on Monday evening.

 

Two people were injured in a pickup truck accident at around 7 p.m. on Monday evening on 14283 Pike County Road 252.

 

The victims were traveling in a 2000 Ford Ranger. Rebecca E. Calvin, 8, and Joseph R. Traynor, 30, were transported by Pike County Ambulance to Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana for treatment. They both incurred moderate injuries.

 

The pickup truck was being driven by Richard E. Calvin, 30, of Louisiana. The victims were heading north when the truck ran off the road. Calvin over-corrected and swerved but after the truck got back on the road; it veered off the left and overturned. One of the passengers was ejected but authorities did not say which passenger it was.
