Motorcycle Victim Dies Following Truck Collision
HOUSTON, TX – A motorcycle and pickup truck collision has resulted in the death of the motorcycle rider.
An accident involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck ended with the rider dead and the truck in a northeast Houston home.
The truck accident took place just before 7 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Cavalcade Street and Elysian Street in Houston.
The driver of a white Ford F-250 pickup truck was heading northbound on Elysian Street when she crashed into the rider at Cavalcade Street. According to the truck driver, she had the green light and the motorcyclist got in front of her.
The driver then lost control of the truck, causing the vehicle to jump a curb and crash into a Houston home. The driver and a female resident of the home were transported to Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Victims have yet to be identified. According to police, the deceased motorcycle rider was a 31-year-old man.
