Garbage Truck Overturns Causing Traffic Delays
LEXINGTON – A garbage truck accident in north Lexington has caused traffic delays on Monday morning.
The garbage truck overturned on Rookwood Parkway, near Bryan Station Road, around 7:30 a.m. According to authorities, the garbage truck driver was turning onto Rookwood Parkway from Bryan Station, when he hit a curb, causing the vehicle to overturn.
The truck driver was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
The incident caused major delays during rush hour traffic Monday morning.
