Eleven bus passengers injured in truck accident

West Palm Beach, Fla. – A passenger truck and a transit bus collided early Monday morning in West Palm Beach, injuring eleven people. The driver if the truck had to be cut out of the cab of his pickup. He was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries. But CBS12 News reporter Gary Windom reported that homicide detectives are involved in the investigation, because of the seriousness of the driver’s injuries.

Ten passengers on the bus were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Any one of these victims may require the assistance of a truck accident attorney. Investigators haven’t yet determined the exact cause of the accident. According to preliminary reports, the truck was traveling northbound on Seventh Street when it entered an intersection and collided with the transit bus, which was traveling east on West Palm Beach Lakes. Investigators are trying to determine if the driver of the truck had the right of way.
