Collision Between Two Tractor-trailers Leads to Two Injuries
MONTREAL – An accident on the West Island Tuesday morning has resulted in two minor injuries after two tractor-trailer trucks collided with three parked vehicles.
The accident occurred at Brunswick Blvd. and Bancroft St. in Dollard des Ormeaux, Montreal Tuesday at around 6 a.m. According to authorities, a Molson beer delivery truck and another tractor-trailer crashed into each other. One of the trucks then hit a lamppost and then crashed into three parked cars.
Montreal police Constable Raphaël Bergeron said the collision happened by accident and was not either truck driver’s fault.
“Both had the green light but one of the truck drivers turned and didn’t make it in time,” said Bergeron.
Neither of the drivers are expected to be charged.
